CEIT341 Measurement and Evaluation

This course is designed to provide prospective teachers with fundamental knowledge and skills in measurement and evaluation at an introductory level. The primary topics covered include educational testing and assessment in instruction, instructional objectives and goals, validity and reliability, test item construction, measuring complex achievement, portfolios, assessment procedures, administration of tests and evaluations, grading and reporting, and achievement and aptitude tests. Additionally, the course provides essential knowledge of descriptive statistics to support data-driven decision-making in educational contexts.
